Call for Speakers

                                          

                 Denver, CO | May 22-23, 2023                                           Orlando, FL | November 5-7, 2023


Planning has started for both Accelerate and the IT Procurement Summit in 2023. Locations are set and the Spring conference Accelerate is being held at the Hilton Denver City Center on May 22-23. The IT Procurement Summit will again be in Orlando at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista near Disney Springs on November 5-7.

If you didn’t already know, each year the CAUCUS Executive Advisory Committee (CEAC) and staff carefully plan the annual events to ensure that attendees receive timely and relevant information to improve their skills. Based on the attendee evaluations from the 2022, we are looking to add more prolific practitioners and experienced Director and C-Level speakers with intermediate to advanced material relating to IT procurement.

Particular topics of interest include not yet filled:

  • Agile Best Practices Across the Contracting Process
  • SaaS Contracting Best Practices
  • CLM Software Implementation
  • Data Privacy and Security
  • Cloud Spend Optimization
  • Software Audits
  • Negotiations
  • Predictive Benchmarking
  • State and Local Government Procurement
  • Departmental value-add and how to sell it.

More general topics regarding licensing, innovation, strategic sourcing, negotiating, vendor management, and risk mitigation are also welcome.

If you are interested in creating and presenting a dynamic and interactive session at either of these events, you may submit a speaking proposal to help motivate your colleagues to reach new heights and inspire newcomers to embrace the profession.

We welcome up to three presentation proposals per person between now and February 10 for Accelerate and May 15 for the IT Procurement Summit. All speakers will be notified of their status within 15 days of submission.
