Experian is seeking 2 highly motivated Technology Commodity Managers to join our Global Sourcing team in Allen, Texas or Costa Mesa, California. We are looking for a Technology Commodity Manager who will be responsible for leading procurement projects related to sourcing of information technology hardware, including servers, storage, software and maintenance.
5 or more years of related experience in IT Procurement.
Current experience in the global sourcing, contracts and negotiations for the acquisition of mainframe and distributed computing hardware
Current experience in global software licensing (sourcing, contracts and negotiations) for mainframe and distributed systems
Current experience in the acquisition process of storage hardware (disk and tape)
Leasing of computing hardware equipment
The sourcing acquisition process of PC’s
Project management
Procurement processes
Ability to work effectively in a complex organization
Strong computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Problem solving, multi-tasking decision-making and organizational skills
Experience with automated procurement systems a plus, preferably Oracle (electronic PR’s and PO’s) and Ariba electronic RFP’s and contract management
