We have created a new discussion forum "REED (Response to Extraordinary Economic Downturn)" in response to a suggestion from a member. Here we'd like you to tell us about efforts to cut costs or save money. Tell us, are you renegotiating contracts? What are you doing relative to software maintenance? What is your strategy for contingent labor? Responses aren't restricted to only these areas. What other areas are you looking at during these tough times? Everyone is asking questions and searching for answers. Log in now and use the forum to share your ideas and strategies. Click here to participate. |

In these tough economic times, we recognize that the employment outlook may be uncertain for many of our members. It’s during these times that networking with your peers is extremely beneficial. We don’t want you to lose the benefits of your Caucus membership just because you’ve “moved on”. If you’re covered under a corporate membership and you leave the company, we’ll keep you on the membership roll as an individual member until the next expiration date of the corporate membership. This applies if you’ve switched companies or lost your job. (And as has always been the case, your former employer will be able to replace you on its corporate membership.) If you’re an individual member and your employer paid for your membership, if you leave the company your former employer may replace you on the membership, and we’ll keep you on the membership roll until the original expiration date. Remember to use the Caucus Career Center. This publicly-accessible resource contains technology procurement related job postings from Caucus member employers. Caucus members and former members may also post their resumes in the Career Center for prospective employers to view. It’s just another benefit of your Caucus membership. For more information, please contact Caucus Member Services at 407-740-5600. |
