As you know, several weeks ago we surveyed CAUCUS members about two ideas for new member benefits, the CAUCUS Roundtable program and the CAUCUS Advisory  Program. As we reported in the Discussion Forum, the responses we received were very encouraging.

We are pleased to inform you that the CAUCUS Advisory Program was launched in mid-February.  This program lets CAUCUS members discuss technology procurement issues on a confidential, one-on-one basis with an ICN/Caucus Senior Advisor subject matter expert.  All you have to do is select Caucus Advisory Program from the Member Resources Menu at caucusnet.com to arrange your appointment, free of charge and without obligation.  For more information about the program, please visit the website or email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Many of you are already participating in and benefiting from the CAUCUS Request a Conference Call program, kicked off in late January.  We are pleased to announce that we have incorporated Request a Conference Call into our Caucus Roundtable program.  Now, you can schedule conference calls with other members to discuss issues of importance to you whenever you need help.  CAUCUS will facilitate the scheduling, provide the bridge line, record the call, and post the recording to the Caucus Education Center for everyone’s benefit. [Note:  Based on member feedback, effective 3/28/2011 we discontinued the practice of recording these conference calls.]

The other part of the Caucus Roundtable program is the Caucus Roundtable Briefing, a monthly webinar presentation with a subject matter expert, followed by a peer driven panel discussion of a wide range of issues in which you can participate. ICN Senior Advisors and senior CAUCUS members serve as the panelists and facilitate the discussion.

Our inaugural Caucus Roundtable Briefing is scheduled for Noon (Eastern) on April 27, 2011 and will be centered on the topics and issues that you and your fellow members want to learn more about. The facilitated CAUCUS Roundtable Briefing sessions enable us to share the best, most up-to-date, most critical information and allow you to employ better techniques in your IT acquisitions.
